Corporate wine tastings in Austin, San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country
Most company happy hours end with people talking about work. Ours end with a room full of accountants arguing about whether they just tasted guava or green pepper.
I lead every event myself. The wine, the staff, the glassware and the stories behind every bottle are included. You bring the people.
People remember what they learned, not what they drank
Before Mahlon and I opened Coordinates, I spent years in the wine import business, including sourcing Pinotage in South Africa for buyers in China. I have tasted wine in rooms where nobody shared a language, and it still worked. A glass of something unfamiliar gives people a reason to talk to each other.
That is the whole idea. Every event is built around a story: where the grapes grew, why a bottle of sparkling wine can be opened with a sword, why Pinotage exists at all. Your team leaves knowing something they did not know that morning, and they learned it together.
No slide decks. No trust falls. Just good wine and better questions.

Corporate wine tasting FAQ
How much does a corporate wine tasting cost in Austin?
Our Guided Tasting is $145 per guest with a 20 guest minimum ($2,900). Our Cocktail Hour is $85 per guest with a 30 guest minimum ($2,550). A full-day buyout of our Hye farmhouse or Fredericksburg tasting room starts at $18,000. Wine, staff and glassware are included. Prices are before tax and gratuity.
Is a wine tasting a good team building activity?
Yes, when it is built around learning something together. Our Guided Tasting can include a blind-tasting team challenge, and every wine comes with a story about where it grew and how it was made. People talk to each other because they are trying to figure something out.
Do you travel to San Antonio, Dallas or Houston?
Austin, San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country have no travel fee. Dallas and Houston add a $500 overnight fee. Events outside Texas are quoted based on permits and timing.
Do we need to provide food?
No. Every format works without food. If you want food, we will work with your caterer on pairings or help arrange charcuterie.
Can guests buy wine at the event?
We do not sell bottles or glasses at offsite events. Guests get a private link to order, and eligible three-bottle bundles ship for a $15 flat rate.
What wines do you pour?
Coordinates Vineyards specializes in sparkling wines and South African varietals such as Pinotage and Chenin Blanc. Our wines have earned 47 competition medals, including a Class Champion Gold for the 2021 MCC Brut Reserve.
Can we hold our event at the winery?
Yes. Our farmhouse in Hye, on Highway 290, works well for retreats, and buyouts of our Main Street tasting room in Fredericksburg are possible for the right size group.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can. Austin Kerr leads every event personally, so we take a limited number each month, and holiday and spring dates fill first. A deposit holds your date.
What is your guarantee?
